Clive Rogerson
B.Sc.
Senior Management Associate, Spearhead Training, U.A.E.
Clive is a London University graduate whose early experience was gained in the F.M.C.G. industry both in the U.K. and the Middle East. He has a total of 14 years Middle East experience, and has also worked in Lebanon, Russia, and the Czech Republic.
Clive’s career has progressed through various sales and marketing roles, to general management positions in Europe and the Middle East. Clive’s personal development involved graduating through sales, marketing and management courses, including attendance at some top U.K. training schools, including Ashridge and Cookham.
Clive’s early experience as a field trainer in the U.K. proved particularly relevant to setting up new sales teams in Lebanon, Russia, and the Czech Republic. In the Ural and Volga regions of Russia he set up the first sales and marketing organizations for Coca Cola. This was a ‘greenfield’ operation, and all recruiting and training had to be done from the very start.
As Export Director for a Czech F.M.C.G. company, Clive was involved in developing the sales skills of his distributors’ staff across the whole of Eastern Europe. Working with a cross section of nationalities is a challenge Clive has always enjoyed and his logical approach to sales and marketing has enabled him to communicate effectively in a number of situations.
In the U.A.E., Clive has successfully restructured and segmented sales teams to take advantage of changing market needs.
After a successful period in general management & sales management, Clive has now turned his energies to training and brings a wealth of front line ‘real life’ experience to the training room.
As a results focused individual, Clive will always strive to ensure that delegates take away relevant new skills that will drive their business forward.
